Hall Chadwick, one of Australia’s most enduring and respected chartered accounting and business advisory firms, is thrilled to announce the opening of its latest office in New York, signifying a significant expansion driven by sustained interest and growth.

As a member of the independent accountancy association PrimeGlobal, Hall Chadwick maintains a presence in every major capital city, including Singapore and New Zealand. In addition to tax, audit, and assurance services, Hall Chadwick provides expertise in specialised business advisory areas such as strategy and structure, alongside services in recovery and insolvency, corporate financial advisory, and forensic accounting.

Heading the New York office will be Peter Bird, an accomplished investment banker with extensive experience in secondary capital raising, underwriting, IPOs, acquisitions and mergers, business modelling, financial analysis, fund management, and market/equity reporting. Peter’s formative years were spent at Perth-based boutique corporate advisory firm, Empire Capital Partners, where he cultivated a passion for assisting companies in realizing value through strategic transactions and general corporate advisory.

A strong advocate for the clean energy transition and nuclear fuel Industry, Peter co-founded Canadian uranium explorer, Basin Energy, in 2021, which subsequently listed on the ASX in late 2022. In mid-2021, he transitioned to the U.S. to join NY-based investment fund, Obsidian Global Partners.
