Mark is the Chairman of Hall Chadwick.

As Chair, Mark is responsible for ensuring the long-term success of the firm, and provides clear leadership in setting the firm’s commercial and risk strategies, and managing risk appetite. Mark is an experienced company director and corporate lawyer, and has previously served on the Boards of Australia Post, John Holland Engineering and John Holland Queensland, the NDIA, and has also served on the Takeovers Panel.

Mark was formerly with Ashurst, specialising in corporate transactions including foreign investment regulation, and M&A transactions. At present, Mark is Acting Chair of the Essential Services Commission of South Australia.

At Hall Chadwick, Mark works with the leadership team to implement a robust governance framework as well as an honest workplace and client management culture. In ensuring integrity in decision making, Mark works to hold senior leadership accountable, builds consensus in ensuring a strategic mindset across the firm, and monitors compliance with regulatory requirements.
