Tristan Lo is a serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of FAT Projects who joined Hall Chadwick as a Partner in its Investment Banking and Corporate Finance practice. He has spent his career founding, funding, and scaling businesses across marketing, hospitality, education, e-commerce, fintech, and foodtech, with a particular focus on Australia and South East Asia.

Having launched his first company while still at university and built ventures ever since, Tristan brings a founder-first perspective shaped by both hard-won successes and instructive setbacks. That operating experience — from early-stage start-ups through to public markets — informs how he supports management teams, and he is a firm believer in backing companies that solve genuinely big problems in the region.

At Hall Chadwick, Tristan focuses on U.S. capital markets, cross-border M&A, strategic advisory, and growth capital for high-impact companies. He is Chairman and Co-CEO of two NASDAQ-listed special purpose acquisition companies, Fat Projects Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: FATP) and Aura FAT Projects Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: AFAR), each formed to partner with high-growth technology companies.

Through FAT Projects, the Singapore-headquartered venture studio he co-founded, Tristan builds and funds internal start-ups and joins the cap tables of emerging growth companies. His ventures include the food-tech brand Bamboo Bowls, Singapore restaurant and bar Panamericana, fintech platform ipaymy, and e-commerce company Mums.sg, in which he sold a majority stake to JD.com. He moved his family to Singapore in 2013 and regards the city and the wider South East Asian region as among the best places in the world to build a business.
